Les constructions à ellipse constituent un défi pour tous les cadres grammaticaux qui visent à articuler explicitement les différentes dimensions d'analyse, et en particulier la syntaxe et la sémantique. Après une brève présentation du domaine empirique, on s'intéressera au premier semestre aux travaux fondateurs consacrés aux constructions à ellipse du groupe verbal en anglais avant d'examiner au second semestre les solutions proposées pour rendre compte des constructions à montée du noeud droit et des phénomènes de gapping observés dans diverses langues.
